Connect the Harmony to the computer and press the "Sync Remote" button on the My Harmony software Device page to update the Harmony remote if the home entertainment device doesn't appear to recognize the Harmony remote.
Check that the manufacturer and model number for the device you want to control are correct in the Harmony software.
Either sign into the My Harmony software for Windows or Mac, or use the Harmony mobile app to opt-in and begin the installation.
During the installation of the Harmony remote software, the USB drivers for your Harmony 900, 1000 or 1100 remote are installed and configured, however there are times when this does not happen which will require you to manually configure the USB drivers.
To manually configure the USB drivers, refer to this article. 64-bit Mode Has Been Enabled The USB drivers for the Harmony 900/1000/1100 remotes are not compatible with 64-bit mode and therefore will not allow the remote to communicate with the Harmony remote software.
If you have enabled 64-bit mode on your Mac, you will need to boot your Mac into 32-bit mode.
Harmony Remote Update is a software program developed by Logitech - Harmony Remote Client. The setup package is about 46.17 MB (48,413,750 bytes) when donwloaded.
Typically, syncing your remote will be sufficient to update your Harmony software.
